1.      Treatment

Anaheim Lighthouse offers detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient addiction treatment services to individuals battling with drug or alcohol abuse. With an emphasis on trauma care, the center provides experimental trauma treatment that helps individuals with a history of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, PTSD, attention deficit disorder, and other. Treatment includes rigorous one-on-one counseling, peer support, group therapy, and medication assisted residential detoxification.

Each patient, upon arrival, goes through extensive assessment. After assessing their medical and family history, the staff creates a personal treatment plan that meets the patient’s personal needs. The treatment program starts with residential detox, managed by medically certified doctor.

The program then progresses to residential treatment where patients stay at a home-like facility that provides a safe environment for healing. Apart from group therapies and one-on-one sessions, the services at Anaheim Lighthouse also include substance abuse education, family therapy, medication management, and 12-step meetings. Patients are educated on anger management, relapse prevention, and trauma. Furthermore, residents also participate in experiential trauma treatment, and therapeutic and leisure activities that promote overall well-being.

Once patients receive the residential treatment part of the program, they can choose to continue their recovery through partial hospitalization. This level of care provides 6 hours of treatment per day, and patients continue to attend group and individual counseling sessions. Upon discharge from partial hospitalization, patients are dropped down to Intensive Outpatient level of care. This level of care includes 3 hours of treatment per day where patients continue to work towards the goals established in the initial treatment plan.

Anaheim Lighthouse has a 4.5-star rating on its Facebook page, 4.1 stars on Rehabs, and 4.1 stars on Yelp. Some of the comments include:

Absolutely love how much they help people, great vibe and recovery even after treatment is finished. I’ve been a part this place 9 years after they helped me get sober. They still invite me back to help the newcomers and to be a part of their events. It’s actually an honor and a privilege. – G.S

This facility is very well kept and clean. The outside is pretty but they still need a lot of work with organization. There should be a licensed counselor running the groups about relapse prevention or sharing our stories. There is no structure at all. Groups attendance is not mandatory. If someone has a headache or stomach ache they just go and watch TV. The detox women’s house needs major cleaning. The bathroom and bedrooms were not cleaned once in the 10 day stay I had here. – C

It’s been roughly a year since my friend connected with this group. When it comes to levels of care, this center was a great choice. They offer intervention help, a residential treatment center, and support groups for families. Anaheim Lighthouse has a highly qualified & experienced staff, and can help with dual diagnosis in the OC. – D.K

I would like to thank the lighthouse for all they have done for my brother!!!! As a family member of an addict, no one can understand the struggles that hasn’t been there. The light house helped to take a lot of those worries away the moment my brother checked into the facility. They are all professionals and know their industry well. – J.P
